Work for the dole could include school tuckshops

The Federal Coalition Government has signalled the idea of resurrecting the so-called work for the dole scheme and possibly including maintenance and canteen positions at schools, according the the Daily Telegraph.

"The sorts of roles that might occur would be in maintenance around the school, for example," said the Assistant Employment Minister Luke Hartsuyker.

"With appropriate checks, working in a school canteens. Many schools struggle to find volunteers."
