The mother of two teenage girls who committed suicide last year is suing the local school authority for failing in its duty of care for her 13-year-old daughter.

The Irish Independent has reported that the mother has claimed the Donegal Education Training Board failed to provide a "controlled, monitored, safe, supervised working environment" for her daughter who took her own life amid claims she was being bullied at school and online.

The older sister took her life several weeks later.
