SA teacher porn scandal intensifies

The teacher who watched pornography on a school computer and allowed a student to be blamed was referred to the Teachers Registration Board and police in 2004, according to The Australian.

The revelation comes after the SA Education Department and the Education Minister's office claiming no referral had taken place at the time.

The teacher was only suspended on full pay last month after the Australian first reported on the scandal, which saw the former student receive $30,000 in "hush" money from the Department to remain quiet on the matter.
