The President of the Federation of Parents and Citizens Associations of New South Wales has made another defiant statement, rejecting claims he had been ousted from the organisation at a meeting last weekend.

"I would like to confirm that no properly constituted meeting has been convened by P&C Federation and I am still the President of the Federation of Parents and Citizens Association of New South Wales,'' said Lyall Wilkinson in the statement.

Mr Wilkinson said he hoped to "continue to retain faith in my leadership and the objective of improving the culture of the Organisation, as identified as a necessary requirement by the Minister for Education in recent correspondences".

As for reports the body had been referred to the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption by the NSW Education Minister, Mr Wilkinson said: "If this is the opinion of the Minister as a suitable action then I respect this duty and I look forward to being in receipt of the alleged complaints."
